A Show of Salesmanship

I continually learn about selling. I start learning from the people around me. That is my family, friends and even to the vendor down the street.

I hear others say, "sellers are liars". That is why before, I did not want to do anything with selling. Haha... (But look at where I am now). Perhaps, the notion, "Sellers are liars" may be true, depending on how you would look at it.
At another angle, we may look at seller as just simply "Story Tellers".

I remember listening to a lot of bed time stories. I love bed time stories. Do you?
I had listened to stories that where inspiring, others scary, others funny and many fantasy.

It is ironic how I love fantasy stories. Stories like Pokemon, Peter Pan, Santa Claus, and many others. Fantasy stories, Ahh... this are not true stories but I was sold to this stories not because I was trick to believe the fantasy. But because fantasy delivers that one important message. And that message may be love, patience and all. Hopeful a good message after all. Because fantasy stories are full of enchantments. Do you believe it too?

And maybe that is the reason why, we never tag authors who writes fiction stories as "liars". Haha

My point is, at some point we want to sell our ideas. And there are time that we paint a picture, whether it be in a form of stories real or non real.

I am beginning to love selling more and more each day... haha that is an exaggeration but I know it does paint a picture when I say it, right?

Friends in Facebook

He is the inspiration that I came up with this article. A mentor and friend.
I have realized as I get passionate about blogging. Wither it be writing an article or positing a video or simply uploading a picture. It is all about people.

I remember, in my high school, I got acquitted and accustomed to the world of living with as many people as I can imagine. I was a shy type of teenager with a few friends. Although, I did not grow up alone as a child. I was living together with my parents and three siblings.
I had a challenge talking to a group. But it was there that I had learned to deal with my shyness. Since, I had my high school and college years in the seminary. I woke up every day with about more than a hundred brothers living a “community life”. I though living with many people is just inside the seminary but I found it even outside.

When I went to work in school as a teacher. I taught about two hundred students. When I worked in the call center I had dealt business with forty new clients each month. Thus in total, I had about 2,000 clients in my stay for 4 years.
When I started blogging I have reached about 2,000 views for just a year. (I am still learning how to increase views as of the moment.) Bottom-line, I realize my life has always been in contact with a lot of people.

And now, with blogging I realize with the increasing contact of people I have. All I need is to share my passion I am turning into business, starting with my teaching profession, sharing about financial literary, promoting Cebu local tours and anything that I get inspired about.

Facebook would call your network as your Friends or Followers or even Fans. It may also be a community. Bottom-line, we are all connected to each other and we have services and products that we simple share and partake, sell and buy, give and receive. Much more to this is how much this social media have deepen communication and constantly build relationship.
I like to hear from you. Let me know your opinion, suggestions and reactions.

Simplify to multiply

A complicated life is not worth immolating, would you agreed?

I wanted to be in a fast track of life but if I have things complicated I discovered that it would be difficult to multiply.

Since I started to settle down in Dubai my thought had been emptying my cup and learning new habits. Also unlearn habits that may not work here in Dubai.

One of the habits that had been working for me by far has been blogging and I am thankful that I had not miss a single post every day. As I learn to take more videos I started to learn editing and other things that relates to making it much presentable. But this made it complicated for me. After realizing this, I am returning to simplifying my video. I am would just have to stick to the essential and that would be --content. The background music and other may just be added someday.

By doing this I am able to transfer the time for editing to writing. I know someday, I may meet a person who would be editing my videos. Haha
