One Sunday, I visited my school to play football. I saw this big picture located at one part of the school area.
The sign is a public declaration of the school's dream of building a replica of Don Bosco's childhood house back in Italy. (They are going to make one here in Cebu. I wish every alumni would take part of making this dream a reality.)
Like Don Bosco I continually believing in making dreams a reality. When Don Bosco was about 9 years old he dreamt of being in the midst of young people playing and fighting. Later did he know that he would be in a mission for the young people who are lost. Today, even in his 200th year of birth he is celebrated around the world by the very young people who whose life he has touched. I for one.
Dreams do come true. I believe it does. This is the message I continually remember and in-vibe. May your dreams come true. Let's pray and work for it.

A Changing Cebu
I see a lot of changes in Cebu.
For almost every day as I go to work I see foreign students and tourist.
I see rising building and business meeting in coffee shops.
Coming from a country that had been proclaim to be third world.
Before most Filipinos fight to work a abroad.
Know it seems confusing to think and feel one may not earn simply by staying here.
Of course it is hard work.
I am not saying that going a broad is not entirely a bad idea.
There are a lot at stake for a mother or a father or parents leaving ones children to work abroad.
What would an infant think when a parent leaves to feed ones need for food. How about the need for holistic well being?
Perhaps it is a question of priority and handwork and even the will fight to stay with ones family Work hard to provide a living and even a fortune by being together.
I know this message maybe for everyone. This may be hard for others.

Building Relationships
![]() |
| Building Something like a Lego House. It is happier when you have someone to build with and build for. (This photo was taken with my sister) |
I tried to use Google, Facebook, and check on websites.
What am I doing and where am I going with my life? Have I made the right life decisions?
What I have found out...
I just have to anchor my inspiration on what truly matters...
That is my relationships, simply with my family, friends and associates.
It is not a perfect one. In fact, it is full of imperfections but it is what truly matters.

Lights, Camera, Action!
I realized if I wanted to be somebody I needed to put up a show. That means, I needed to act being that somebody I am not. Like theater dramas, it needs to have lots of preparation to internalize my character to make it real.
It is a bit similar to life. It is a challenge to get out of my comfort zone to fulfill my wanted future.
I avoid the discomforts that comes with acting the role, the new clothes or costume that needs to be worn.
But as the curtains open, I realized that any discomforts are nothing to the audience great applause.
Friend, what character would you want to be greatly acknowledge?

Outside of Ones Comfort But Inside Ones Core Gift
They say if you want success it is found outside of your comfort zone but inside of your core gift. I heard the story of Henry Sy (The owner of the biggest malls in the Philippines and possibly in Asia too). He started as a shoe vendor, selling along the streets of Colon (The center of trade before in Cebu City).
Speaking of Discomfort. It was told Henry just slept along with his stock of shoes. Speaking of Core Gift. Henry has stick to selling Shoes and even more.
I normally like to listen to stories of success and a common thing I discover is this, simply the sacrifices they paid for the success they wanted.
For me this is a hard saying but it is a proven way. Plus, I believe working on ones Core Gift is something worth the sacrifice because of the love factor in it.
